The proposed solution for the Črni Kal viaduct represents a stabile space frame structure of two separate superstructures, 1060 m in length, supported by Y-shaped piers, at the valley, and with separate piers at the southern hillside. The main span of the viaduct amounts 140 m, pier heights differ from 9.0 m to 95.0 m. The viaduct is deep founded on wells up to 20 m deep.
