The winning proposal (Ponting & Pipenbaher Consulting Engineers) for the new Highway Bridge over Krka River (Slovenia) represents a prestressed concrete box-girder bridge, build with balanced cantileaver construction method. The spans of the bridge ammount 105 m + 135 m + 70 m, with total length of 310 m and width of 2 x 11.25 m.
A parallel stress-ribbon bridge carries the pedestrian and cyclists traffic over the river Krka in a single span of 135 m.
