The grand opening of the Hercegovina Bridge over Neretva River in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Today marks the opening of the Hercegovina bridge, also known as Počitelj bridge, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Bridge is a part of the Vc corridor motorway between Budapest and Ploče.

The bridge curves over the Neretva River, passing by the historic urban site of Počitelj. It is 945 metres long, more than 100 meters high and supported by six pillars. The bridge connects to a previously constructed section of the motorway, approximately 11 kilometres long, through the western part of Herzegovina.
